Work that Reconnects
Workshop
Spend a weekend exploring your relationship to living and working in this time of global crisis. Explore gratitude, anger, pain, hope and hopelessness...etc. in order to be the most effective change agents we can be. This workshop is intended to focus on our relationship with environmental and social justice issues rather than personal therapy, and as such, we will honor our pain for the world, see it with new eyes, and go forth with a renewed sense of energy, determination and sustaining power. There are many experiential exercises, mixed in with personal visioning work, and teaching. Workshop sessions are Friday night and all day Saturday and Sunday, attendance at all is highly recommended. Feb. 17-19, 2012 Friday night, Saturday-Sunday all day. Pastoral Counseling Pastoral Counseling is available in person in Swannanoa, NC, or by phone or skype. Active listening, empathy and direct counseling all available to explore issues surrounding your engagement with activism, organizing, and the conditions of our world, despair, burn-out, grief, conflict, hope, hopelessness, or apathy, optimism, faith tradition and spiritual practice, spiritual advising, career and life transitions, etc. Rates: Sliding Scale $35-65/hour session
Ritual/Ceremony Want to marry the mountains? Honor your commitment to Earth through a created ritual? Conduct a funeral or wake for a mountain, river, community? Council of All Beings? Renew your intentions toward your work in a ceremony? Let’s talk!
Facilitation, Mediation, and Group Counseling Mediation· Facilitation · Restorative Circles · Active Listening Sessions · Empathy Circles We all encounter conflict. Conflict in and of itself can be okay, even healthy. How we deal with conflict determines its results in our lives. Sometimes we need backup when it comes to hearing our own pain or understanding where another person or group is coming from. I am available to help facilitate dialogue, provide active listening sessions, mediate, and/or facilitate community restorative justice circles, and mentor groups and individuals through the art of empathy. Please contact me for an initial discussion to determine what would best suit your needs. Rates: $35-65 / hour, plus compensation for travel and preparation time if applicable.

This deep-dive incorporates system theory, deep ecology and despair work through experiential exercises, individual processing and teaching.
Rates are determined by length and location within a sliding scale.
